Heavy-Duty Sealing for Thick and Gusseted Bags

The AIE FD Series is a line of high-performance Double Impulse Foot Operated Sealers designed to fuse thick or multi-layered materials from both sides simultaneously.  These machines are specifically engineered for demanding packaging environments where seal strength, precision, and thickness capacity are critical.

Each model features:

• Heating elements on both the upper and lower jaws (can be toggled to operate on single jaw mode only)

• Produces a strong, clean 5 mm-wide seal (optional 10 mm seal)

• Available in 12”, 18”, 24”, and 32” seal lengths

• Max seal thickness: up to 2 x 0.4mm material (approx. 20mm gusseted bags)

• Max operating temperature: 250°C

• Typical seal cycle time: 1-3 seconds, depending on material thickness and heat settings

• Standard 110V power, 220V models available upon request

• Foot-operated design allows for hands-free control, significantly reducing operator fatigue, and allows precise placement

• Stand, adjustable work table, and foot pedal included standard

Ideal Applications & Materials

The FD Series is designed to seal thicker flexible packaging materials that traditional single-heat systems can’t handle effectively.  Its dual-impulse technology ensures deep, uniform seals for challenging applications, such as:

• Heavy-duty gusseted poly bags

• Thick multi-layer laminated films

• Polyethylene and Polypropylene packaging

• High-barrier or foil-laminated materials

• Specialty industrial or bulk packaging
